It’s gold for the Huskies’ men’s badminton duo Ross Golding and Ogyen Dorjee.

Becoming partners this year, the duo won their second tournament and have remained undefeated this year, and won the final game at provincials, against Humber College’s Chowand Schmidt, 2-1 (21-16, 17-21, 21-18).

In order to qualify for the provincials the pair went 5-0 at the Ontario College Athletic Association East regional tournament and beat Seneca, Centennial, Boreal, Cambrian and Georgian College.

Golding, a former Ontario University Athletics men’s doubles gold medalist from Western University, has a lot of experience and certainly used it to win the gold medal with Dorjee.

The duo will be preparing for the national tournament being held at the University of Kings College in Halifax on March 3 to 8.
