The platform also allows users to host a meeting or join one, with or without the video on, and can accommodate more than two people. Zoom is available for use on Android, Apple, and Blackberry phones and tablets, as well as for Mac, PC, and Linux.

To host a meeting students can sign up for free at zoom.us, click on host a meeting. You will then be provided with a URL and conference number to send by email to those who are attending the meeting.

If you received an invite for Zoom in your inbox, to join a meeting click on the provided URL and continue on into the meeting. Students can also paste the meeting ID through Zoom’s website under ‘Join a Meeting.’
