In concert with Bryan Bielanski

Prepare for a night of acoustic rock, as Bryan Bielanski brings his high-energy show to Toronto Oct. 2.

Known for his relentless touring and infectious live performances, Bielanski is set to light up the stage with his unique blend of rock and folk music.

“I’m doing a series of dates in the northern U.S. and Canada this fall… with Brian’s Super Happy Fun Time 4 coming out Sept. 8, it will be the very beginning of the Super Happy Fun Time 4 tour,” said Bielanski. “I’ve actually played Toronto before, so I’m very excited to make it back to the city. I definitely love the city.”

With performances spanning continents, from the United States to Europe and beyond, Bielanski has built a reputation for delivering shows that are both familiar and refreshingly original.

His imaginative lyrics and contemporary take on rock and roll make his music instantly engaging, while still paying homage to the golden ages of rock and folk.

Despite drawing inspiration from the classics, Bielanski’s sound is anything but average.

“The first time I heard the Beatles’ White Album when I was 14-years-old. I was like, ‘yeah, this is definitely what I want to do,’” he said. “With Super Happy Fun Time 4, I made some more artistic choices on the album, but it’s still got that happy-go-lucky, super happy fun theme.”

“After being in a punk band and singing lots of angry, screaming songs, I decided life is just too short to not have a good time and not have a smile on your face,” he said.

Bielanski looks forward to continuing his evolution as an artist.

“Travelling is one of the best things. I like the travelling aspect just as much as the performing music aspect. They kind of go hand in hand.”

The show will start 11 p.m. at The Drom Taberna in Toronto. It is a 19+ event.
