Vilivant is set for her tour after her new album- Running on Empty- releases later this week.
Julia Gentile, known by her stage name Vilivant is ready to release her album after a successful release of her song ‘Running on Empty’.
Her first single in last three years, received a great response from the audience.
The song was written during the pandemic, diving into the feeling of uncertainty, untapped potential and not being motivated during tough times. With the heart-warming response she received, Vilivant is now ready to release her new album on March 10, named after the song itself – Running on Empty.
The album consists of eight songs and the theme maneuvers through heartbreak, betrayal, and the journey of finding oneself.
“When it comes to writing songs, I actually like to talk to different people and find out about their experiences in life. Some of them are about my personal experiences, but most of them like themes of heartbreak are kind of grasping at what people have felt during their time of heartbreak and writing songs about that,” says Vilivant as she recalls working on the album.
She started working on the album in 2020, however, due to pandemic she was only able to record in 2021. The album was an ongoing work for almost three years and now it is set to release after three years of hard work.
Although she loves all her songs, Vilivant is excited for two songs that are very close to her heart. Releasing in the album, the first is ‘Moving Forward’ and the second is ‘Narcissistic entity’, sharing her experiences with moving on from what is not meant for you.

The release of the album will be followed by a tour which starts in Hamilton on March. 12 and ends in Kingston.
