Rudberg, a Business Administration Marketing student, has been vocal about student issues such as OSAP cuts and free education since 2012. Ap- pointed to the position of Director of Communications and Internal in September, she decided to run again to finish what she started. “It feels amazing,” she says, “I had a list of things that I wanted to do, and I wanted to make sure I did it all.”

A member of Enactus, with hopes to go into film-related marketing (“at a place like Disney”), Rudberg hopes to let all students to know how important and essential the SA is, but her goals extend beyond that. “(My) next goal is to have open forms of communication with all students about what the board does,” she promises.

Also elected was Shemar Jordan, an International Business student. Active in politics since high school, with a goal to enter the public service sector, Jordan has always fought for inclusivity and wanted to continue to do so, prompting his run for Director of Operations. “I am honoured to represent the student body as their voice,” he says, “ it didn’t sink into me yet that I’m in this position. Shemar is a member of the Black Student Success Network (BSSN),

Jordan yearns to become a part of all activities happening around the school. “ I hope to bring everyone together so we could make this upcoming school year a success,” he boldly claims.
