Man wanted for sexual assault investigation near GBC Ryerson location

Toronto Police are requesting assistance to identify a man wanted in a sexual assault investigation near Sally Horsfall Eaton building.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, a 29-year-old woman was walking in the Gerrard Street East and Jarvis Street area, near the Sally Horsfall Eaton building where George Brown College students study, at 2:50 p.m. when a man sexually assaulted her.

The woman reported the incident, describing the man as being in his early 20s, 5’8’’ to 5’9’’ in height and 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey pants.

Toronto Police are requesting assistance in identifying the man.

Police said if anyone recognizes the suspect or has any information that they should contact investigators.
