The donation, consisting of non-perishable food items, was received by Ronnie Cruz, SA community services co-ordinator. Cruz highlighted the importance of contributions like Chartwells, and said that demand on food bank increases every semester.

“It’s really important that we get enough food because one of the last things we want is not to have enough available for students to pick up,” said Cruz.

She added that the demand for food is why faculty, staff and students are always encouraged to donate.
