IwB hosting talk on the urban infrastructure divide

The Institute without Boundaries (IwB) in association with Arup Canada, will be hosting a panel called Discussing Division on March 3.

The panel will examine and discuss the current state of urban infrastructure, while hoping to gain a better understanding of why and how “connective tissues” such as rails, bridges and rivers can become tools for division.

Christopher Pandolfi from the IwB will moderate the talk and he will be joined by panelists Adrian Blackwell, assistant professor in the University of Waterloo’s school of architecture; Matthew Browning, transportation consultant for Arup Canada; Denise Pinto, director of Jane’s Walk and John van Nostrand, the founding principal of planningAlliance.

The event will take place Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. at George Brown’s school of design at 230 Richmond Street East in room 108. It is free and open to the public.
