HALIFAX (CUP) — Just over a week after a chant at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax about non-consensual sex exploded into the national news, SMU administration has announced today that that will be taking disciplinary action against another student – this time one who pled guilty to the sexual assault of a 14-year old girl last fall.
Student and local girls soccer coach Konstanty ‘Kostek’ Bedoa-Gorski, 24, pled guilty during his trial, Tuesday. The judge granted him a stay from sentencing until December so that Bedoa-Gorski can complete his semester at SMU, however the university issued a statement saying he has been suspended while he awaits “a disciplinary hearing that will be held as soon as possible.”
