The festival provides opportunities to learn about tech and arts from talks given by industry leaders, pitching ideas by current and future startups, and meeting investors.

Speakers in attendance this year include tennis champion Venus Williams, Olympian Andre De Grasse, astronaut Chris Hadfield, Toronto Mayor Joh Tory, and more.

Attendees can do many things aside from listening to and meeting speakers including networking with industry experts, joining startup and investor opportunities, and taking a deeper dive into the world of arts and technology.

The festival will kick off with the free to join block party at 5:30 p.m., Sept. 20 at Meridian Hall. The party will include musical performances, food trucks, a marketplace and bar.

Other events will be starting in the next two days. Detailed program schedule is available on the website.

The non-fungible token (NFT) art gallery located at the Design Exchange is another spotlight of the festival. It will be open on Sept 21 and 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It features a series of curated NFT artwork from 40 creators. Information about the world of NFT, the Blockchain and Metaverse, and how digital art can help technology innovation is presented at the gallery.

There are 300 free general admission passes for GBC students.

Those who attend can access to the main stage and 10 plus festival content tracks, the app networking and messaging tool, the Marketplace, Elevate Open House, NFT Art Gallery, and the block party.
