Start your new school year off by working at the biggest film festival in the city.
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), in partnership with Black Screen Office (BSO) and Indigenous Screen Office (ISO), is looking for volunteers for the upcoming event.
Running from Sept. 6 to 11 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sept. 12 to 16 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., the volunteers will work with the BSO and ISO at Industry Centre, 370 King St. W.
The volunteers will be tasked with attending to visitors and answering any basic questions about both organization. In addition, volunteers must have knowledge of the Canadian Black and Indigenous films in the festival.
For tougher questions, volunteers will be asked to collect contact information from guests and relay that information to the appropriate contacts at each organization.
Applications must be sent to Tagaty Badio at ea@bso-ben.ca.
The deadline to apply is Sept. 5.
