George Brown College (GBC) will host GoVaxx COVID-19 mobile vaccination clinics at its St. James, Casa Loma, and Waterfront campuses next week, on August 25 and August 26.
GBC will be the first college to host a drop-in clinic, which will not only be available to students, but the general public as well.
“We all play a role in ensuring that our communities, on campus and beyond, stay healthy and safe,” said Chris McGrath, the Vice President of Student Success in a media release.
The mobile clinics will be situated in buses parked outside of the college buildings, and the nurses will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Although the vaccinations will be administered on two dates at three different campuses, not all campuses will have the vaccine clinic on the same date.
On August 25, the clinic will be open at St. James from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. And from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the clinic will be open at the Waterfront campus. On Thursday, August 26, the clinic will be available at the Casa Loma campus from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
“Getting vaccinated is an important choice that you can make to help protect your health and the health of those around you,” said McGrath.
