With rising COVID numbers, George Brown College (GBC) has officially announced that primarily online learning will continue for the Spring/Summer 2021 semester carried out between May and August.
“This means we will continue to operate as we are this winter,” said GBC President Anne Sado in an email distributed to college staff. “The majority of students will continue to learn online, with students on campus to complete hands-on clinical or lab work where required.”
This announcement comes as a state of emergency continues in Ontario and has been extended to last until at least February 9.
“We will continue to ensure that we follow all guidelines from government and public health officials to keep those on campus safe and healthy,” said Sado.
More to come.
