‘George Brown College never closes’: students react to the icestorm

George Brown College remains open today after icestorm

Following a winter storm that blanketed southern Ontario with snow and ice pellets, George Brown College, Seneca College, Durham College, Mohawk College, Ryerson University, and the University of Toronto’s St. George and Scarborough campuses remain open.

Meanwhile, Humber College, Centennial College, York University, Conestoga College, Georgian College’s Orangeville’s campus and the University of Toronto’s Mississauga campus closed due to the weather.

Individual classes at George Brown may be cancelled and the college is advising students to check their STU-VIEW account for class cancellations.

Unsurprisingly news of the college remaining open is not going over well with students on social media.
