Police issue sexual assault alert after man sexually assaults four women in string of attacks in Toronto’s Little Italy and Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhoods
Toronto police are warning the community after a string of sexual assaults in the Little Italy and Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhoods.
According to a news release by police a man riding a black BMX bike has sexually assaulted at least four women in the area during attacks going back to June.
On June 10, at approximately 1:15 a.m. a 26 year-old woman was walking near Euclid Ave. and College Street. She was approached by a man on a black BMX bicycle who sexually assaulted her before leaving the scene.
On Aug. 5 close to 11:15 a.m. a man riding a bicycle assaulted a 29-year-old woman who was walking in the Palmerston Blvd and Queen St. West area.
Less than a week later, on Aug. 11 at 11:15 p.m., a 25-year-old woman walking in the College St. and Manning Ave. area was sexually assaulted by a man riding a bicycle.
On Monday, Sept. 29 at about 10 p.m. a 26-year-old woman was walking in the Palmerston Blvd and Queen St. West area and was approached by a man on a bicycle who then sexually assaulted her.
The man is described as white or Asian, possibly 5’7″, approximately 25 years of age, with a small to medium build. In all four incidents he was seen wearing a black hoodie style sweater with the hood up, with a white design on the back, possibly a “skull” or white lettering. He is always riding a Black BMX style bicycle.
