Mental health is continuing to be an ongoing issue, so why is it being overlooked—especially when its affecting Canadian soldiers?
Military suicides is becoming a major problem, and what’s being perceived by Canadians is that our Prime Minister Stephan Harper doesn’t care about the well-being of our soldiers during times of budget cuts.
Mental health issues do not just occur while the soldiers are deployed, it continues long after they’ve served their time in the military and increases over time.
